Season Ticket Week | Aug 31 - Sept 5
Every dancer starts the season with their very own Marquee Season Ticket! During class, dancers will fill out their ticket with the dance styles they love, goals they want to work toward, and something they hope to accomplish this year. We’ll keep their tickets throughout the season, check in on their progress, and celebrate those exciting moments when a goal gets crossed off. It’s a fun way for our dancers to dream big, stay motivated, and see just how much they grow along the way.
Bring a Friend Week | Sept 21 - Sept 26
We all know dance is even more fun with a friend! During this week in September, Marquee dancers in participating classes are invited to bring a friend along to experience class. Friends can join in, experience new dance styles, meet our teachers, and see what makes dancing at Marquee so special. It’s a fun, low-pressure way to share something they love, and maybe discover a new favorite activity together!
Zombies Dance Party | Oct 3rd
Calling all Zombies, Werewolves, Aliens, Vampires and Daywalkers! Kids ages 6–9 are invited to join us for a Zombies-Themed afternoon filled with dancing, Halloween games, music, and plenty of dance moves inspired by Disney’s ZOMBIES! Costumes are encouraged, and no dance experience is needed—just come ready to move, laugh, and have a frightfully good time with friends at Marquee! Saturday Oct 3rd, 2:30 - 4:00 pm $40 per student.
Halloween Dress Up Week | Oct 26 - Oct 31
It’s time to dance in costume! During Halloween Dress Up Week, Marquee dancers are invited to wear their favorite Halloween costumes to class for a week of festive fun. We’ll keep classes moving as usual, with a little extra Halloween spirit, plenty of photo-worthy moments, and lots of fun seeing everyone’s creative looks. Just make sure costumes are comfortable and safe to dance in!
Holiday Show at The Norris | Dec 6
Celebrate the season with us on stage at the Norris Theatre in Palos Verdes! Marquee dancers will have the chance to perform in our annual Holiday Show, a festive afternoon filled with music, costumes, and the excitement of sharing what they’ve been working on with family and friends. Show registration opens September 28, so be sure to save the date and join us for a new Marquee Tradition.
Birthday Parties at Marquee
Celebrate your dancer’s big day at Marquee, where kids dance, play games, learn fun choreography, and share their birthday with friends in the studio. Perfect for ages 3+ during the day and ages 7+ for evening parties, it’s a fun and memorable way to dance, celebrate, and make birthday magic. Contact us directly for rates and availability.

GOLDEN: K-Pop Demon Hunters
Step into a high-energy hip-hop dance event designed for dancers ages 7-11 who love HUNTR/X and The Saja Boys. Dancers will learn combinations inspired by the film with a special guest instructor coming straight off tour with Lady Gaga in our boutique studio environment.
Sugar Plum Fairy Experience
Join us for our Sugar Plum Fairy Experience—a magical holiday event where young dancers step into a Nutcracker-inspired winter wonderland. Children will learn ballet choreography, create a special keepsake craft, take photos with the Sugar Plum Fairy, and celebrate the joy of dance while parents enjoy a little holiday time to themselves.
Frozen Fairytale Experience
Inspired by the beloved story of Frozen, this dance workshop invites dancers ages 4–6 to explore fairytale storytelling through dance. Students will learn age-appropriate choreography and creative movement that brings the story to life through dance, while developing musicality, coordination, and expressive movement in a fun, supportive environment.
Valentine’s Day Dance Event
Join us for a Valentine’s Day Dance Event designed especially for young dancers ages 4–6 who love music, movement, and celebrating friendship. Dancers will learn a fun theater jazz and tap routine centered around themes of kindness, teamwork, and sharing the joy of dance. Students are encouraged to bring a best friend or a favorite stuffed buddy as they move, learn, and celebrate love all around in a warm, supportive environment.
Descendants vs. Zombies Dance Camp
Inspired by the music and style of Disney’s Descendants and Zombies, this camp blends jazz and hip-hop with themed choreography, creative projects, and a final performance. Dancers will build skills, confidence, and stage presence while having an unforgettable week. Great for kids who love upbeat music and bold performance energy.
Honey Taps Workshop
Join us for our Honey Taps Dance Workshop—an upbeat tap experience where dancers train with a professional Honey Taps performer, learn signature choreography, and gain insight into the world of performance and auditions. Dancers will build technique, confidence, and musicality while preparing a mini-performance to show off their new skills.
On With The Show
Join us for Marquee Dance Center’s very first annual showcase, an afternoon celebration of our dancers and their hard work this year. Tickets on sale May 1st, so save the date and come cheer on your dancers as they shine under the lights.
Ocean Adventures Dance Camp
A magical ocean-inspired week featuring music from Moana and other favorites, dancers will explore ballet and jazz while diving into imaginative movement, themed crafts, and storytelling. The week concludes with a mini performance to celebrate everything they’ve learned. Perfect for little adventurers who love music, creativity, and movement.
Royal Princess Dance Camp
Join us for a magical week inspired by Disney princess favorites. Dancers will explore ballet and tap while learning choreography, playing themed games, and creating princess-inspired crafts. The week ends with a special in-studio performance for families. Perfect for young dancers who love storytelling, sparkle, and imaginative play.
