Registration & Enrollment Fees

Is there a registration fee?

Yes. A $ 40 annual registration fee is applied to new and returning students.

Do you offer a trial class?

Yes! Trial classes are available for $30 for new students—or for current students exploring a new style.

New students who register on the same day as their trial:

  • $40 enrollment fee is waived, and

  • $30 trial fee is applied toward your first month’s tuition

Existing students who enroll in the new class on the same day as their trial:

  • The $30 trial fee is applied towards your prorated monthly increase. Billing adjusts on the 23rd to reflect your new monthly tuition.

Recitals & Performances

Are students automatically enrolled in the recital?

Students are not automatically enrolled in our semester recital.

When it’s time to prepare for our performance, families will receive a notification with full details, including important dates, costs, and how to officially sign up.

How do families sign up?

Once registration opens, families may choose to enroll their dancer in the recital by the stated deadline. Participation is optional, and we want families to feel informed and excited before committing.

Location & Parking

How do I find the studio?

Our studio is located at:
24520 Hawthorne Blvd Suite 100, Torrance, CA 90505

The best route is to enter off Hawthorne and Via Valmonte by turning into the plaza with the Truxton’s. We are located on the east side of the lot with a black banner/awning above the studio doors.

Another entry point is off Newton, turning south into the parking garage under the green ivy.

What is parking like at the studio?

We offer ample parking spaces in our lot outside the Truxton’s. Additional parking is available on the north side of the studio, as well as underground with entry on Newton Street.
Please allow a few extra minutes during peak class times.

Entry & Safety

  • Please enter through the main studio entrance near Truxton’s

  • Dancers should arrive 5 minutes early, dressed and ready to dance

  • Only registered dancers may enter studio rooms during class

  • No food or drinks on the dance floors

Pick-Up & Supervision

  • Dancers must be picked up within 10 minutes of class dismissal.

  • For the safety of our youngest dancers, children age 5 and under must have a parent or guardian present at the studio at all times.

Marquee Dance Center is not able to provide supervision outside of scheduled class times.

Communication

How will I receive updates?

We communicate through:

  • Email

  • Phone calls

  • Newsletters

Please ensure your contact information is up to date.

Can families watch class?

Our second studio does not currently have a viewing option for families, and is mainly used for Grown-Up & Me classes, Invited classes, and Private Lessons while the main studio is in use.
